Provençal path

This painting is inspired by the warm and vibrant landscapes of the southern countryside, evoking Provence and Mediterranean rural life. I was particularly struck by the harmony between nature and human presence: a small house nestled in the earth, surrounded by trees and fields, with mountains rising peacefully on the horizon.

The composition reflects a balance between intimacy and immensity. The house creates an anchor point, while the vast landscape invites the viewer to wander freely through the scene. The cypress and olive trees punctuate and structure the canvas, guiding the gaze.

Through this work, I wanted to express a feeling of warmth, nostalgia, and a deep connection to the earth.
