This work was born from a desire to evoke a place where time slows down. I wanted to capture the softness of a lakeside village bathed in light, a space suspended between nature and architecture, where each color seems to breathe. The inspiration came from those Mediterranean villages that line the water: simple, yet deeply soothing places, where flowers spill from balconies and boats glide silently.

I sought to convey a feeling of escape, as if the viewer could almost feel the warmth of the sun on the facades and hear the water caressing the wood.

My intention is for the viewer to feel a pause, a breath, a moment of inner vacation. This painting invites one to project themselves into a familiar or dreamed place, a visual refuge where one returns to recharge.
